Privacy

Short version: we keep as little as we can, and anything you post here is public.

Comments. If you leave a comment, the name you type (or "anonymous cat fan") and your comment are stored and shown publicly on the site, with the time you posted. Don't put anything private in there.

Reactions. Tapping a Mochi emote adds one to a public count. We store the count, not who tapped it. Your browser remembers which ones you tapped (localStorage) so you don't double-tap.

Spam protection. To stop spam, your IP address is used briefly to rate-limit posting. We only keep a scrambled (hashed) version of it for a short time, never the IP itself, and it's never shown.

Your browser. The site saves a few things in your own browser only: your last visit date (for the "new" badge), your reactions, and the name you used last. That never leaves your device. Clear your browser data to reset it.

No tracking. No accounts, no analytics, no ad cookies. Nothing is sold.

Other services. Fonts load from Google Fonts, so Google may see your IP address and browser info. The site and its storage are hosted on Vercel, which keeps standard server logs.

Removal. Want a comment taken down? Contact the site owner and it'll be removed.
